F*CK YOU TREEBEARD!!!!!

I haven't posted up my BOYL2016 progress recently on here as I've been busy trying to get the painting done. I haven't finished yet but I'm nearly there.

First up is my Anti-Ent team, drafted in after a mauling a few years back.

I'm really pleased with my Vermin Lord, I wasn't sure how he was going to turn out, I just started painting him and he ended up like this, which I think is rather spiffing. Normally I have an idea in my head what I want the thing I'm painting to look like, not so here.

He's going to represent Praznagar, Prince of Agony, Daemon General of the Horned Rat (AHQ baddie), for our big Saturday bash. I'll either roll up a Greater Daemon or a Daemon Prince. The latter would be more characterful and accurate so I think that's the route I'll go down.

Next up is the Spearmen for the Battle for Maugthrond Pass. I still have 5 left to paint to use in "The Rise of Morcar"BFG at BOYL but I have enough for the scenario I'm running on the Sunday. As per usual I still have banners and shields to finish off.

A Nurgle Chaos Sorcerer to summon the Great Unclean One above (a Tzeentch Sorcerer is on the painting table as I type).

B*gger, I need to neaten up his base............................

Lastly I've painted up a bunch of Orc war machine crew................................... OK, I still have to finish the war machines but they, again, are on the way. These war machines are to be added to the Orc contingent for the Morcar game on the Saturday.

First of the crews are the Boyz for the Stone Thrower for the Battle for Maugthrond Pass.

+1 to be Skull Crusher crew in 3rd Ed.

The 6 (yes, that's 6) crew needed for a Man Mangler in 3rd Ed.

spot the difference for Man Mangler number two.

Bolt Thower crew.

Another set of crew for a second Bolt Thrower.

and lastly, just to prove I've painted all of the crewa and not just photographed the same figures a second time.

Righteo, I'm off to bed, night peeps.

    1. You weren't there man.........................

Seriously, I've developed a real phobia of the leafy b*st*rds so I decided upon something that should chop them down to size.

I love that model too, very evocative of what a Nurgle sorcerer should be.
