A Gathering of Mighty Painters Month 2

 THWANG!

"Waaaaaaaaaggh!"

"Wat was dat?" demanded Skumgash.

THWANG! THWANG! THWANG! THWANG!

"Woooohooooo!"

"Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuddddddddddddddddddddddd"

"Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh"

"Ladz I changed my miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT! KRUMP!

Gorfang felt slimy mush hit the back of his head.

He Span around to see Skumgash, the unit's Boss pointing and laughing at the remains of Lag, one of the Boyz. He appeared to have been smooshed together with a green splat, broken bits of wood and a lot of torn material.

THWANG!

"Whooooop whooop whoooop"

Gorfang looked up to see a Gobbo sailing through the air on.......... wings?????????

"Flying Gobbo's" thought Gorfang? "Nah, can't be".

THWANG! THWANG! THWANG! THWANG!

A bunch of Gobbos scream.

More Gobbos flying through the air.

Wait, hold on, they were using their wings to redirect themselves.

They were coming back this way!

Four Gobbos impacted a short distance from Gorfang's Redfang Boyz. A fifth was on a collision course with him!

"Move It!" Gorfang shouted as he pulled Gitstab in front of him and he dived to the side.

The Gobo impacted and the diminutive loon and Gitslab exploded showering everyone in body pulp.

"Oh Yes" though Gorfang, "These nutters will do nicely".

He then promptly ordered the Redfang towards the direction the crazed Gobos were coming from to make them an offer they wouldn't refuse!

This is my entry for the 2nd month of A Gathering of Mighty Painters.

5 Doom Divers mounted on 2nd/3rd Ed "style" 25mm x 75mm multibases. They aren't original bases but instead are 3D printed versions supplied by Jamie Loft of Old School Miniatures (https://www.oldschoolminiatures.co.uk/)

(NB: just to say again, the miniatures are originals, it's just the bases that are new).

These miniatures were released early in 3rd Ed, a month or two after the game was released, and are iconic of the time so I had to paint some up.

Next month sees more unit(s).
